Americans In Ireland: Day 2 (Part 1) – Let’s Have Some Craic! #IrelandMNC

Today’s word of the day is ‘Craic’ (pronounced crack).

Craic (n): (pronounced crack) fun time and good conversation

This post is part 1 of 2, and will focus on the and Pub in , (’s oldest pub).

If you know me, or know of me, you likely know I love beer … especially Guinness.  The Guinness Brewery was the number one destination for me on this to Ireland.

I took several pictures for you to enjoy.

I ran out of time at the Guinness Brewery. Two hours isn’t enough. Remember that if you go. I didn’t even get to the gift shop, and I’m still bummed about it. Though you can buy Guinness merchandise anywhere in Ireland (it’s the national drink).

After Guinness, some listeners and I took a horse drawn carriage to The Brazen Head. Ireland’s oldest pub dating back some 900 years.

Once we got to The Brazen Head, we realized just how historic the place really is. If you ever go to Dublin, go there.

Part 2 will come tomorrow.  It’s past 1:30 am here, and I have to be up at 6 am to head out of Belfast, and to Bushmill’s.

Enjoy these posts from Ireland, and share them with everyone you think will like them.
