The Celtic punk rock band, Dropkick Murphys, really don’t like Wisconsin Republican Governor, Scott Walker. It’s actually more than not liking him. They literally hate him.
At the Iowa Freedom Summit this past Saturday, Walker walked onto the stage to the band’s “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.” The band really hated that and tweeted a message to the possible 2016 Presidential nominee.
Here is Walker walking onto the stage as the song is played.
According to AV Club, beef between Walker and the band goes back to 2011.
“Walker introduced a bill that was designed to straighten-out Wisconsin’s budget—and yes, it’s just as exciting as that makes it sound. In order to fix the budget, one of Walker’s ideas—among many others—was to drastically limit the collective bargaining capabilities of most public employees. Basically, he made their unions powerless,” AV Club writes.
