(Daily Mail By NINA GOLGOWSKI) – A western Pennsylvania man is jailed on drug charges because police say something other than a confession came out of his mouth when he was hit with a stun gun.
Ambridge police say Frank Lee Turner, 56, was mumbling with a fat lower lip after a vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped on Feb. 5.
While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, Turner got out of the truck, according to the police report and was asked to return just before a struggle ensued.
Not complying to the officers’ orders, Turner was hit with a stun gun causing a single piece of wrapped crack cocaine to come out of his mouth.
Police said they could see more white beneath his tongue.
After then hitting an officer over the head, knocking off his hat and sunglasses in the process, police say they used the Taser on Turner once more.
The action caused him to spit two more pieces of the drug from his mouth before he attempted to swallow the rest.
Tasering him a third time, 19 more pieces came out. Police in all collected 23 wrapped pieces.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for Turner, who faces a preliminary hearing on drug possession, resisting arrest and other charges.
Turner remained in the county jail Tuesday, unable to post bond.
