Victims Sue After Sex Offender Wins Lottery Payout

Earlier this month, Truth Revolt reported on a sex offender who hit the lottery in Florida. Now, it looks like his luck has run out.

Two of Timothy Poole’s victims have filed suit against him, now that he is $3M richer.

Poole was accused of sexually battering a 9-year-old boy in 1999. Poole denied the allegations but pleaded guilty to attempted sexual battery and was sentenced to time served.

His probation was revoked in 2003 after he failed to show up for counseling.

The suit was filed by two brothers, who were 9 years old and 5 years old when Poole was arrested. There is no statute of limitations in Florida for sexual abuse victims under the age of 16.

Poole maintains his innocence.
