White House Releases Odd Cartoons to Encourage Health Care Sign-Ups

Ahead of the Feb. 15 deadline for Obamacare enrollment, the White House has released a series of what it is calling “shareable graphics” in an apparent attempt to reach those Americans who have yet to visit HealthCare.gov.

In the style of a comic strip, these cartoons feature “diverse” men and women going about their daily activities, whether it be taking their dog for a walk, making sandwiches, jumping out of an airplane, or yes, even riding a shark. Each one ends with an invitation to join them in applying for insurance coverage at HealthCare.gov.

The White House release states:
